Edward

Edward Talmor-Gera is the founder of NewVest and is passionate about the private markets industry and the continuing innovation and evolution of this segment. Edward formed NewVest in 2021. He has more than 15 years of private markets experience in various capacities, including as the founder of FPI, a boutique private capital placement agent that has to date successfully raised over $6 billion for a number of well-known global private investment firms.

Edward lectures on private markets at London Business School, where he was previously the Private Equity Industry Coach, and he also teaches at various other academic institutions and executive education forums, training investment committee members for institutional investors and running an annual private equity course for capital markets executives. Edward is also a frequent speaker at private market industry conferences. Prior to founding FPI, Edward had several finance and investment banking roles with a significant single-family office, Goldman Sachs and Rothschild. He started his professional career with Sotheby’s.

Edward received an Executive MBA from London Business School and a BS in Mathematics from TAU.
